Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Clonix (the app and clonix.me), operated by Urbicode Services LLC, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and provide truthful information.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in methods (phone, Google, Apple) secure.
• You may create several profiles within one account; all are subject to these terms.

3. Acceptable use

Clonix is for communicating and getting organised. You may not:

• Harass, threaten or impersonate others, or spread hate.
• Send spam, scams, malware or sexual content involving minors, or promote illegal activity.
• Violate others’ privacy (sharing their data without permission).
• Attempt to access other accounts, interfere with the service or scrape data.

4. Content, blocking and reports

• Your messages and files are yours. You grant us the licence needed to store, transmit and process them (including with AI) solely to provide the service.
• You can block anyone from the chat info screen: they will no longer be able to message you in direct chats or start chats with you, and they are not notified.
• You can report messages, contacts or groups from the app. We review reports and may remove content, limit features or close accounts that violate these terms.

5. The AI assistant

Clonix uses AI to transcribe, summarise, detect commitments, read receipts, propose decisions, answer about your memory and alert you about relational well-being. AI can be wrong: its output is a suggestion, not professional advice (legal, medical, financial or psychological). Verify dates, amounts and agreements before acting.

You can adjust the assistant’s intensity per chat or turn it off. Well-being alerts are private and describe facts of the conversation; they are never sent to the other person.

6. Groups and decisions

In groups, decision cards reflect participants’ answers and create no legal obligations between them. Admins may change the group’s name and photo and manage participants.

7. Payments and plans

Clonix is free during the beta. If we offer paid plans in the future, prices, limits and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase and handled through the relevant app store.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or withdraw features and update these terms. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use means acceptance.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or the law, with notice where reasonable.

10. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Urbicode Services LLC is not liable for indirect losses, data loss caused by factors outside our control, or decisions made based on AI output. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida (USA), without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country. Contact: hi@clonix.me.
